Ras Mohmmed National Park is located at the meeting point of gulf of SueZ & gulf of Aqaba , it was declared since1983 by UNESCO as protectorate area.
According to the classification of UNESCO, Ras Mohamed is the second largest coral reef Park in the world after Australia and is the oldest coral reefs park and creatures in the whole world .it goes back to more than 20 million years.
Ras Mohamed has more than 130 kinds of corals and more than a thousand species of colored fish , in addition to the ecological systems as mangrove environment and desert valleys. It is about 12 K.M away from the city of Sharm El-Sheikh .
